ENDIA Governance

ENDIA Study governance has been carefully structured to ensure rigorous internal and external oversight for the study. The framework is structured to ensure efficient and informed decision-making with shared distribution of roles and responsibilities. Central to the framework is the ENDIA Steering Committee, which holds the authority to make key decisions.

Professor Jenny Couper is the Principal Investigator and Chief Clinical Officer based at Adelaide University and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, South Australia. The Chief Scientific Officer is A. Professor Emma Hamilton-Williams of the University of  Queensland. The Chief Operating Officer is Doctor Megan Penno at Adelaide University.

The intention of these Executive roles is to improve administrative efficiency, foster collaboration, and establish effective leadership frameworks that are internationally recognisable.

The governance framework of the ENDIA Study is depicted below. Functions of the various committees, themes, teams and groups below the Steering Committee are divided into Operational Activities, Scientific Activities, and Clinical Activities.
